Two bands with different styles take to the stage on this Friday. Horizon is an Australian Rock Band, formed by Lee Bradshaw (singer/songwriter) and Richard Panaia (bass) in 2009. The band also features guitarists James Ryan, Brett Garsed, and drummer Angus Burchall. James Ryan plays with Kate Cebrano. Garsed and Burchall are known for having played in the John Farnham Band, and have performed with some of Australia’s best loved Artists including Kylie Minogue, Jimmy Barnes, Olivia Newton-John, The Black Sorrows and Ross Wilson. Lachy Doley is Australia’s most celebrated Blues Soul Rock Organ Player. He’s been dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, a player who can pump, pamper and occasionally pound the most unbelievable sounds from a keyboard: sounds that are intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent. Lachy Doley has seen much of the world, recording and touring with acts as diverse as Powderfinger, Glenn Hughes, Steve Vai, Jimmy Barnes, The Beautiful Girls – more recently recording on anew album of Joe Bonamassa’s which came out in early 2015. It was 2010 though, that saw thebirth of THE LACHY DOLEY GROUP and they have been heavily recording and touring ever since.

“Walking on a new and open road, "Lucky Day" is filled with very tasty morsels for the discerning music lover who likes to feel the music and relate to it's journey through lyrics and melodies - clearly well worth a listen, or 10! Fortunately for me, I've heard the entire album - but I'm not going to give anything else away (not even the thing about the Richard Marx track! Or how moving 'Painless' is. Or the fantastic new mix & production on...). Just buy "Lucky Day" and enjoy a great album of music written by a true Australian musician. Needless to say, its only my opinion that at least half of the songs on this ten track album would suit rotation on any main stream radio station. Download the provocative "Dancing At The Fall Of Rome". Support Australian Music and give "Lucky Day" the air to breath that it deserves. Great music!”
