“As a director and composer, how do you feel music can change a film? It can help when you're trying to achieve a certain emotion, from the film and from the audience itself. Say you have a death scene. Putting in a classical piece with dramatic strings and drums is one thing. But when you start to play with the use of noise and silence, it can have a completely different effect. Music can bring the tension that the picture is lacking. The tension comes from the sound and the music.”
