“Are you ready for a sound barrier of riffs the titan style? Seattle based Kiss The Gunner´s Daughter´s self titled EP rocks the big way, the band features members from Temperedcast and SYFT. They have shared the stage with bands like 10 Years, 36 Crazyfist and Floater. You can obviously tell they´re from Seattle because KTGD is heavily influenced by Alice in Chains but also bands like Alter Bridge and Sevendust. The opening track "Message from Roslyn" takes off like a rocket launch, and I love their crispy and heavy sound too. Perfect match! I am also impressed by their strong choruses in songs like "Still here" and "Paralyzed". Play it loud!”
“This song grabbed me after only two notes. I immediately heard that signature Seattle sound that I love so much. I heard it in the musical composition, in the vocals, in the performance, and in the mix. This song has a perfect blend of darkness and urgency and beauty, in both the mix and the songwriting. It has hauntingly beautiful vocal harmonies laid over hard rock verses and choruses that really reach deep into the listener's soul. All of that combined with top notch musicianship across the board really kick this song into the professional level. At first, I heard the influence of Alice in Chains, but as I continued listening, I began to hear how you've subtly updated the genre which gives this song a sound of your own. When I read the self-description in your bio, I thought you'd set the bar pretty high, but it turned out to be entirely accurate. I think this is an excellently written, performed and produced song by a local "super group" from Seattle.”
“Still Here reaches into your synapses and rips your heart out.”
“This song rocks!! Awesome writing and production. I definitely think these guys have what it takes to get out there and become a commercial success!!”
“good incorporation of programming, has a bullet for my valentine-feel, vocal tone similar to Weiland, not sure it's a smash song but a solid effort tnx!”
“Alice In Chains-esque vocals and heavy riffing that leads the Kiss The Gunner's attack”
