King Belvedere / Press

"King Belvedere" is a refreshing throwback to how Rock & Roll once was and a glimpse into the future of what's to come, all rolled into one big ball of high energy, ass kicking entertainment! Working with "King Belvedere" was an awesomely refreshing experience. The professionalism that each and every band member showed was uncanny. Their showmanship was fueled by pure passion and their interaction with their fan base was truly humbling to witness. The overall experience I had with "King Belvedere" allowed me to remember why I chose to be a part of the music industry in the first place. -Will Clayton, Placid Promotions

“Excerpt From: Thursday Local Artist Spotlight - King Belvedere 3/17/2011 We had the pleasure of attending King Belvedere's album release party at Ram's Head Live in Baltimore on 3/11/11. We had never seen them before... We will see them again. Since it was the album release show for their new album "My Kinda Rock and Roll", the guys came out with a steady diet of 8 tunes from that album. This is King Belvedere's second album. The first album from 2007 has a lot more of a punk rock sound to it, where the new album is a hard driving rock album that may remind the listener of Guns and Roses. They really knocked this album out of the park doing it live at this performance. I think my favorite live song was "One for the Money". The band has a good stage presence and displays a lot of energy and get the crowd going. If you have the opportunity, go see King Belvedere live...they won't disappoint you. ”

“They are King Belvedere, and man are they on the scene in Charm City. I had the pleasure of seeing them play a show recently. In a parking lot. In 90 degree heat. In the sun. For no pay. You know why? Cause these guys really love this shit. They are here to rock. And if it's a parking lot on a day when fire would melt, with their singer being sick.... you get the idea. They play because they love it. End of story. Their shameless and tireless self-promotion made me think: ego-maniacs? But I was pleasantly surprised to find the humility of someone begging for change on the corner. These guys are fun. Good time rock and roll. And they are absolutely everywhere. You can't go to a show without seeing King Belvedere. You are gonna see these guys out and about everywhere. They are more than just a band; they are a group of friends that love what they do (very nice to see in a money driven industry).”

“King Belvedere...ah, Sweet King Belvedere. They followed P.U.S.H. and did not disappoint. I adore these guys. They're just plain awesome if you ask me. Before they played, drummer and absolutely huge personality Johnny Sexx was out in the crowd, schmoozing and wooing people. (He was also asking me to come backstage and give him a show of his own, but alas, nobody sees "the girls". Silly Johnny.) I felt bad, because we were running short on time and KB fans just weren't happy with them leaving the stage after they were told "one more song" by Vince. They did manage to make their people happy by edging in (another) one more song after the chants came from the crowd for "one more" after their last song. I can't wait to see these guys on August 21.”

“King Belvedere got an opening slot on the Lizzy Borden tour. I was on my way up to video interview Lizzy and King Belvedere took the stage. The sound was great, nice loud guitars that cut through the mix, vocals out in front (the way they should be) and the band ripped into; “One For The Money” Great song, it’s got that Guns and Roses meets the Ramones swagger all over it. This band could go places. It looks like there are doing all the right things I’ve seen them listed now a few times opening up for some great regional and national bands. I was only able to catch the first couple of songs from King Belvedere. I was seriously impressed. They were spot on and rocked. But… my 5 friends with me didn’t, and let me tell you they raved about how good they were. So I dig it when my friends say, “I can’t believe you missed this band, they were awesome!!!!” so with that, I’m going to say everyone loved King Belvedere. ”
