Kim Doolittle is all about the music, connecting with the audience and keeping it real. She calls her muse her diary. She is a singer songwriter, storyteller and musician who has just marked her 4th decade as a troubadour. She has been compared to Lucinda Williams and Bonnie Raitt, her musical influences being blues, alt country, cool covers and the tapestry of her Maritime Nova Scotian roots has taken her to 60% of the world, guitar in hand. To coin a phrase she ends every show with: "without you, there is no me, thank you for your ears and may all your blues be the musical kind". Kim has shared the stage with many famous and infamous people from Jeff Healey to Serena Ryder and Rita MacNeil, and worn many musical hats, finally making herself at home with a sound married in roots blues, folk and a hint of alternative country. Just $15 at the door.
This is an homage to the great women singers circa 1960-1979.
