Hey all! I would like to take the time to welcome my new fans who have recently become a fan of Killsin! I know it's been a while but my computer has suddenly crashed, causing all production to be halted for the moment! So as an incentive to make it up to you all, I have made Save Me available for download free of charge, as a way of saying thank you to all of you for supporting my music! Enjoy the free download!
Okay so there's something that I've been keeping from you all...Yep another song in the works, however this is just a short clip of what is to come! It's a song I wrote in February of this year, it probably will end up being a bonus track, because it's that special...
Well go on then! Take a sneak peak of my song "The Show"!
Love the sound of "reflection". Be great to here vocals.
Q: What equipment are you using to record? Also was interested in the guitar(s) your playing, bass, and drums? Are the drums programmed? Just wondering dude! Great sound!
A: Hey Rob, in answer to your question everything is recorded, edited and mastered on my home studio, as for equipment I use a POD Studio UX2 as my recording interface for recording guitar with, an AKG 420 Perception microphone to record vocals and live instruments with, a pair of Behringer Truth's B2030A Monitors, a computer running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, with an Intel i7 3.2 GHz processor, 16GB RAM and 2TB hard drive. First of all no hardware in the way of amps or pedals are used,as my guitars are purely processed through software I own Amplitube 3, Guitar Rig 5, Waves GTR, AmpLion Pro and Kuassa Amplifikation all of which are amp simulation plugins to simulate famous amps and pedal effects, including cabinet impulse responses that simulate famous guitar cabinets in order to produce my desired guitar tone.
I also own T-Racks Grand and Izotope Ozone 5 both of which are mastering plugins, including Variety of Sound which is a free set of mastering plugins modeled after analogue hardware that can be downloaded, Toontrack EZMix a mixing plugin with a library of presets as well as VescoFX HAAS and Provoker plugins to enhance and master my
As for my guitars I use a Fender Blacktop Telecaster Baritone in Drop Bb installed with a Seymour Duncan SH-6 humbucker installed in the bridge as used by John Connolly of Sevendust! I also use an Ibanez RG7321FM in Drop A with stock pickups, A Schecter Damien Elite in Crimson Red fitted with EMG 81/85 active pickups in Drop B. I also use a Michael Kelly Patriot Custom fitted with Rockfield SWC humbuckers in between standard, Drop D and C. I also own a Tanglewood TGRSF CE VS and a Washburn WD 30SCE both of which are acoustic guitars.
As for Bass I don't use one! It is completely processed through a Morpheus Droptune Pedal converting my guitar signal into a bass signal, and in between for other drop tunings, awesome!
Oh and for drums I use Toontrack
EZDrummer and Superior Drummer all of which come pre-progra
