K.O.Bʼs eclectic sound of rock, and electro funk has seen them compared to everyone from synthpop band The Killers and Phoenix to Daft Punk and Depeche Mode. Kids on Bridgesʼ radio-ready melody- heavy music bears scant resemblance to the big beat pioneers.

The Bands Debut single was featured on The Inbetweeners and made single of week by XFM's John Kennedy and Clint Boon. During the same exciting year Radio 1ʼs Scott Mills named Kids On Bridges a Band to watch and X Radios Head of Music Mike Walsh tipped them the same compliment in Music Week.
The band smashed a sold out show at The Viper Room in L.A after legendary radio station KROQ picked up ʻThis Rockʼ; an anthemic electro rock track endorsed by Jazz Colman of Killing Joke (it features a heavy sample of the track ʻThe Eightiesʼ. As well as headline shows in New Orleans they played the UK Festival circuit supporting Soulwax, Friendly Fires, Goldfrapp, Hot 8 Brass Band, OMD and Howard Jones
