When: Thursday 02/21/13 Show Time 9:30 PM (Doors open at 09:00 PM) Ticket Price: $3.00 - $10.00 Showroom: Mainstage 21 & over Pretty Girl: Pretty Girl consists of two brave, soul baring men. Nico Roppo Wilde & Larry Patrick Nix. The music from this band is big, ranging from moving arrangements to moveable dance songs, but they're all great and new. These two young musicians have extreme talent, and as soon as they plug in and start playing you realize it. Nico Wilde is an easy rider from California. He has been playing drums and percussion for about 15 years, ten of that being professionally. Before Pretty Girl, he was the drummer for the band Emery Bird and CrooksCoat. He'll make you move, in one way or another. He has toured with numerous acts before settling down with Larry in Pretty Girl. Larry Patrick Nix is an Alabama/Mississippi native, has been a guitarist for roughly 17 years, and for 7 years has written articles and songs about the subcultures surrounding motorcycles, loose women, and rodeo circuits. He found his first guitar in his grandfather's barn, and he certainly learned how to make that National sing. After attending college for Jazz and Choral Arrangement, he decided to get out of Alabama to progress as a musician. He now resides in the Northside of Denver, from which Pretty Girl is constantly gigging and touring. Kid Kosmo: KK is comprised of 5 free souls. Tyler Morse & Joel Grabois, formerly the Bass and Drum duo for the Whiskey King Coalition. Mark Stephen a Ohio bread singer-songwriter and formerly the front man of The Crown Marbles Experiment. Jay Pennington and Dustin Moran are good southern boys who hold down lead guitar and keys. Description A tight little five piece. Making what we feel is music. Kid Kosmo have a rich and deep texture, complete with strong songwriting and layers of technique. Kid Kosmo leans more toward rock with blues and soulful undertones, which lends it a versatile and appealing sound to fans of all genres. Kid Kosmo has created something that is strong on so many levels; it is definitely worth a listen.
