KEVIN KANE (The Grapes of Wrath) and BRYAN POTVIN (The Northern Pikes) Rail Entertainment presents KEVIN KANE (The Grapes of Wrath) and BRYAN POTVIN (The Northern Pikes)Doors: 8 pm. $10From the mid-80s to the early-90s, The Grapes Of Wrath and The Northern Pikes produced some of the catchiest and most heart-felt singles and videos to come out of Canada at the time. Although the bands shared similar values musically, they only performed on the same bill once during their heydays.Fast forward some 20 years and the guitarists from each of these bands find themselves living just blocks away from one another in Toronto. This realization led to the two of them getting together to hang out with a couple of guitars for some casual jams, and the conclusion: This sounds good! Let's do some shows! As well as old favourites from their respective back catalogs, Bryan will also be drawing heavily from his just-released debut solo album, Heartbledwhite, while Kevin will be performing several of the songs from last year's Grapes comeback, High Road, and may slip in a song or two from his next solo project. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear the voices behind so many CanCon classics team up and perform together!http://www.bryanpotvin.comhttp://www.kevinkanemusic.com

Teamed up with some of the finest musicians available and long time writing partner Eric Goodman, his music easily travels from indie folk to blues-infused rock. Listen to older favorites "Justified," "Ain't Dead Yet" and Falling Angels" ...and new release "Dangerous World" and "Been Arounf the World" to get a sense of his view and insight. Recently released videos "Dangerous World" and "Get America Working" received critical acclaim and are considered some of the better modern protest songs to come out of the Great Recession period. And, if you are in that mood to further understand the appalling abuse of power, check out Kane's "Pigs Get Fat" from the Beneath Smooth Surfaces CD. {e_description}amp;lt;iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YgYZk0BSf78" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen{e_description}amp;gt;{e_description}amp;lt;/iframe{e_description}amp;gt; More about{e_description}amp;lt;a href="http://kevinkaneband.com/" target="_blank"{e_description}amp;gt; Kevin Kane {e_description}amp;lt;/a{e_description}amp;gt; {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;RESERVATION INFO{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;* We do not reserve specific tables{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; except for TCC members, when possible (see {e_description}amp;lt;a href="http://townecrier.com/memberships.html"{e_description}amp;gt;membership benefits{e_description}amp;lt;/a{e_description}amp;gt;). {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;* Tables closest to the stage are held for dinner guests.{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;* The earlier you arrive, the greater the selection.{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; The Towne Crier Cafe is an intimate room, and there are no bad seats. {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;* "Show Only" tables are assigned after those reserved for "Dinner {e_description}amp; Show" parties.{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;* Recommended time for an enjoyable, relaxed dining experience:{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; Party of 2: One hour before show time Party of 3 or 4: Two hours before show time Party of 5 or more: At least two and one half hours before show time. {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;* $2 handling {e_description}amp; processing charge per ticket.{e_description}amp;lt;/b{e_description}amp;gt; {e_description}amp;lt;b{e_description}amp;gt;* All sales are final.
