Just Visiting / Press

“Popular songs include the brooding 'Glass of Whine' to the more lively tune 'SINpathetic' and 'Para Ti,' a Spanish-language number that has allowed Just Visiting to broaden their popularity.”

“Very, very radio-friendly sound, boys! Very, very radio-friendly sound!...That's a nice sound you got…And I understand you're an original band. And the stuff is great!...Rob [Cross, Director Sirius XMU] wants to meet these guys. We want to make sure we introduce you. He's The Ear. He calls himself The Golden Ear. ”

“Anna Rothschild of Rothschild Lynn PR, a former cohort of the legendary Roger Waters, was behind the event's production along with Chelsea Room Promo Director Jeff Krauss. Live entertainment for the evening came by way of the band Just Visiting who belted out a few tunes before calling it quits and joining the crowd for the night. ”

“Alternative rock music hailing from my beloved New York City? It’s something I can’t deny and something I know I’ll love before listening. The rocker vibe of Just Visiting is a bit haunting, in a way that kinda sucks you in. The vocals surround you and speak words of simplistic honesty. Raw music just bleeding out. It’s emotions I can only imagine lead singer Johnny Roset Cervini wears on his sleeve and now is sharing with the world. For me, the song is kind of reminiscent of awesome 90′s music, something along the lines of Collective Soul. While I am a fan of music that is dark and edgy (like 'Glass of Whine'), my go-to song usually is a bit more uptempo, one that my iPod can blast on my car stereo. Just Visiting’s 'Life in a Shoebox' is just that. Still giving me that sweet 90′s vibe with a bit more beat, this is definitely a song you should check out.”

“Last night we saw the band Just Visiting at Chelsea’s Velour Lounge at the release party for their new video Glass Of Whine. Brothers Mike Burke (guitar) and Dennis Burke (bass) of the band as Johnny Roset Cervini lays on raw, melodious vocals. Mike said the band started when Johnny asked for guitar lessons in their dorm. Just Visiting’s drummer Michael Demetrious started as a child actor, was nominated for five Tonys, had a few hits in London, and now moonlights with the only Kiss cover band recognized by Kiss. ”

“Nothing makes me happier than someone showing me an awesome new band, especially if they are from the New York area. It's a state pride thing. So when Queens natives Just Visiting was passed along the grapevine to me, I fell in love. Johnny Roset Cervini (Vocals, Guitar & Songwriter) leads the alternative rock band to new heights. The first thing that stuck in my mind when I heard their single 'Life In A Shoebox' is how they sound a little bit like the Foo Fighters. Then I heard their second single, 'Glass Of Whine' and I heard a completely different sound. These guys are very versatile. They can rock out, sing a beautiful ballad, then switch it up to their cultural roots and rock some Spanish lyrics over some grungy guitar riffs. Basically, these guys straight up rock! Keep your ears open for Just Visiting, because I have a feeling they’re going to be somebody. ”

“I am around the successful part of the entertainment industry on a daily basis and I have no doubt that Johnny Roset Cervini, his Black House Records imprint and his own first project, the rock band, Just Visiting, is the next big thing in the music industry in 2011. ”

“My prediction is that by the end of 2011, both Johnny Roset Cervini and his Just Visiting will both be household names.”

“As friends, Johnny and I have known each other for about 11 years, and as business partners, we've worked together on and off for the past 7. During this time, I have provided an array of marketing and publicity services for Johnny's record label and band. Having been involved in Johnny's company since its inception, I've witnessed firsthand as his love for music has grown into a keen business acumen. I am excited about his recent, new approach towards the operations of his record label and the niche that Black House Records will fill. I am quite certain that Johnny's unwavering dedication to his company, coupled with the great team he has put together, will ensure his future success. I look forward to continuing work with Johnny and Black House Records.”

“I meet many passionate people in this business of music, but it's rare to come across the likes of label owner and artist, Johnny Cervini. Clearly, he has a raw talent to develop not only his music, but the music of others as a producer and A&R executive in a variety of genres, including hip hop, latin pop and rock. In less than 5 minutes, you'll learn about Johnny's drive and determination and see that he puts his all into every project he touches. I'm pleased to have met Johnny and look forward to supporting his personal professional goals while contributing to his continued success.”
