In the spirit of "think globally, act locally," we will be singing songs written by women, for women, about women's issues to benefit Cape Wellness Collaborative and WE CAN. It may be January, but the local Women's Music scene is Hot, Hot, Hot!! Here's your chance to be part of the studio audience for this dynamic show from Cape Cod Community Television . Local Favorite Out Late with Diana Di Gioia will perform, along with the very talented Catie Flynn and Jordan Renzi. Each of these great songwriters will do a full set, and the resulting concert will air on local cable access. Doors open at 6:30, and the show starts at 7pm, at the studio, 17 Shad Hole Road in Dennis Port. Tickets are just $10. From acoustic rock, to blues to folk, Out Late's sound is rootsy and real, with plenty of lyrical wit and charm. Singer/songwriter Diana Di Gioia writes elegantly crafted songs the Cape Cod Times calls “Finely honed narratives with telling details sung with confidence and determination”. Together with lead guitarist David Cochran and harmony vocalist Melody Masi, the trio displays "sharp lyrical skills and smart songcraft" on stage and on disc. Show starts at 7pm.
The 2nd Annual New England Acoustic Music Festival, a one-day boutique music festival produced by Fat Cats Events & Marketing, LLC, in partnership with the Courthouse Bar & Grille, is back on Saturday, September 26th, 2015. The block party style festival will feature New England based music artists, performing original music. The Festival will take place in the historic Antique District of Putnam, CT, often considered one of New England’s best small-town destinations. In addition to the music the Festival will feature food, beer and non-alcoholic beverages from the Courthouse Bar & Grille and other food vendors, as well as a variety of local artisans selling their wares.
