I'm proud to announce that my stringband, the Jon Gonzales Stringband, will be up and attem again this Saturday, January 3rd at Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastopol to celebrate the life of Johnny Downer. We will be joined by Free Peoples, Girls and Boys, and more in the Abbey at 8pm. During the day, local musicians will grace the outside Beer Garden stage starting at 1pm. I'ts an all-day extravaganza to start your new year. $10 suggested donation. Proceeds go to Sebastopol's Music Programs for the kiddies.
