Johnny Falstaff / Bio

Action star of stage and screen, Johnny Falstaff has toured the U.S. from coast to coast and all over Europe.
Born in the small south Texas town of Alice and raised on the outskirts of Houston, Falstaff developed his passion for music early on. Influenced by the likes of Ray Price, Buck Owens, George Jones, Al Dean, and Warner Mack, Falstaff has crafted a unique style in the Ameripolitan genre.

The 2008 release of the critically acclaimed CD "Honky Tonkin' Daddy" launched two years of relentless touring. "Live in Koln, Germany" was recorded on a hot summer night in a smoking little juke joint called The Blue Shell in 2010 and released later that year. Falstaff also managed to fit in, along with fellow artists Hank Schyma and John Evans, the time to shoot the smash indie film "Honky Tonk Blood", which was released in 2011. A non stop European tour in the summer of 2011 afforded Falstaff the International Band of the Year award from the Austrian Country Music Federation.
In 2012, Johnny recorded and released the sound track/concept album "Death Western" and began filming the western thriller "The Hunchback of Mexico", which is based on a novella penned by Johnny Falstaff.

In 2014, Falstaff began recording his sixth album, "Metro-Billy", due to be released later that year.
After successful touring through Europe, Falstaff scored the Austrian Country Music Federation Award for Best International Country Band 2014. With the year ending, Johnny picked up the Ameripolitan Music Awards nomination in the Outlaw category.
