Son of Sekonza
Jesse, this is outstanding!!! I am listening to your tracks as I am typing and loving them!!! Very rootsy and absolutely very well performed. You are an old soul my friend. Hope we cross paths again soon.
Hometown - Nevada City Ca. influences include my family, my guitar, wind blowing through pine trees, distant train whistles, lighthouses, the sound a shot glass makes on a bar, and any old item i find at goodwill.
“Roots in old time country/blues music, this Oregon favorite brings his talents to fair. One Day Only!”
— Town & Country fair Newport Or.
“Born and raised in the mining town of Nevada City, California, Jesse J Ingraham plays music that is reflective of where he comes from. His songs have been described as old timey Delta Blues meets smoky mountain Bluegrass with a hint of Country / Folk. He was surrounded by music as a child and picked up playing guitar at the age of 5. With a number of relatives being in music; his aunt Nancy was the singer of San Francisco 60’s band Queen Lilly Soap, he was always encouraged to pick up a guitar and play during family functions. “I played a lot of the heavier loud stuff when I got in high school,” Jesse say’s, “but as I got older I started to realize that Bluegrass and Blues just fit my vocals and guitar.” Jesse now lives in Salem, Oregon with his wife and children, and plays music throughout the Oregon state and beyond.”
