Q: Hello Jen great music! How did you get into composing and scoring films?

A: Hi! Thanks for the question... I have a strong background in film and music so they both compliment each other. I've been a musician all my life. My parents are both professional musicians. My father is also a sound engineer/filmmaker. I was exposed to everything from a very early age. I started writing compositions when I was a teenager and shortly after starting dabbling in radio and sound recording/mixing. It wasn't until a friend of mine a couple of years ago asked me to help out on a film in post-production that I knew that's what I wanted to do :) Everything just kind of fell into place!:)
