Jeff Moats / Press

"I'm so amazed at the beautiful songs you share with us...my gosh, you match the great John Denver in every way! God Bless!'

Sherryjane Cook - Twitter

"Jeff Moats, was first introduced to me when he opened the San Diego Folk Festival. His professional, polished image is very much an artifact of presenting music since 1976. Using the 6 & 12 string guitar, the 5 string banjo and harmonica, he cultivates the style and material of folk singers since the early 1960's.

"Jeff Moats started the evening with "Frankie and Johnny" for vocals and banjo. Moats' vocals for his rendition was folksy in nature, a bluegrass / Tennessee feeling. His informal stage presence was refreshing. "This kinda hurts my fingers", said Moats, during a fast-paced banjo solo.

" Jeff stole Glenn Yarbrough's voice and never gave it back"
