Jason D'Amore / Press

“Singer-songwriter Jason D’Amore’s debut album may rock the title No Guarantee but what is guaranteed from this quiet, unassuming upstate New Yorker is great tunes.”

“This song takes me back to those times as a young kid riding my bike on them dirt roads. This artist does a great job of just being himself on this song. You can really tell this artist tried his hardest on this track. The instruments and lyrics go together so well. This artist will be heard by everyone one day! I love this song!”

Crowd Review for I Do It For You

“I always love a song with a beautiful and simple acoustic guitar riff as an intro. The vocals were beautiful and heartfelt and matched just right with what he was singing and were a great pair for the guitar riff. I fell in love with the song almost immediately. I like that it falls under no particular genre and I pictured laying in a field or on the beach and listening to it. It was just simple enough to be complex. I would definitely recommend it. I especially loved the falsetto vocals and the harmony.”

Crowd Review for I'm Only Waiting

“A very clear and funky beat with the guitar sounds, they were not overpowering and simple sounding. I thought the male vocalist sounded fresh, clear and this was really appreciated. He has a lot of expression, in almost a Jack White kind of way!”

Crowd Review for The Love

“The drum stick intro was very creative and as it went into the drum/guitar playing, that was a great way to start off the song. The vocalist has a good voice and I love the low bass guitar parts that are right before the chorus.”

Crowd Review for The Love

“Urged to turn it on and then calling out each instrument as its added, the power pop ballad singer here attempts to create bombast thru simple components. Romantic song of failed expectations contains vignettes of when things were good & laments over the end of love. Plenty of harmonies show emotion and craft in shaping the song to be rich and a bit quirky. Like a perfect formula, the two minutes tell the tale, have some spice and then drop immediately after guitars & voice beguile us. Nice.”

Crowd Review for No Guarantee

I definitely think this song could appeal to a wide audience.”

Crowd Review for Gone Away

“Refreshing sound to the melody. The melodic tune is inviting. The tempo is at a pace that is not too fast but not at all slow. It gives the song a pace that is comfortable to the ears. The blend of the instruments are beautifully composed together. The vocals that the artist, he's very well sung. The vocals are song at a quiet set tone and the control over the vocals is really good. The melody has bursts of tunefulness that pops up every now and again that keeps the song sounding exciting. The lyrics of the song are really good and the entire song has a great creative blend of quality. Even though at points it sounds like a lot is going on it blends so well that it's hardly even noticeable how much complexity was put into one frame.”

Crowd Review for Gone Away

“The intro is quiet, but draws you in. I love that the drums start off the verse with the lyrical the use of reverb and echo is genius. The song varies enough to keep the listener interested. The singer has a kind of easy listening voice, while the music sounds like something that Apple would put in a commercial.”

Crowd Review for Gone Away

“The two guitars in the beginning play off each other really well and the addition of the violin adds a nice timbre. The mellowness in the vocals matches the tone that is set in the strings. I like the bareness of the track and that there is no percussion for the first few parts; even then, when the drums does come in it is very brief. The piano is also a nice addition and gets away from the typical instrumentation of today's modern bands. The drum transitions between sections are also well executed.”

Crowd Review for I Do It For You

“I love the intro. The voice is very good, I wish I could sing like this sometimes, there is a lot of talent in this. I normally don't listen to this kind of music but, this is great, I really like it! Great job!”

Crowd Review for I Do It For You

“This guitar intro really wakes you up to the point where you know you have to listen. The singer comes in at the best point with the best lyrics I have ever heard. Really like this song and the story it tells. This song also has morals that are listed which you can hear in this amazing song's lyrics. The singer shows as long as you believe you can do it as said "You do it for me, I do it for you." Wish this song could be on the radio when ever I turn it on. Great song. Closer to the end you feel that rejoice moment that everyone loves.”

Crowd Review for I Do It For You

“The guitar was played very nicely. I enjoyed this song a lot. This song reminds me of a rainbow in the sky. Drums and other instruments sounded very good. If I could play this song over and over again I still wouldn't get tired of it. I think that the background instruments all complemented each other. There is just something special about this song that I can't quite put my finger on. The mix and mastering job was done very well. In all this was a great song. The vocalist had a lot of talent, I could hear he has been doing this a long time.”

Crowd Review for I Do It For You

“The guitar gives a rich tune to the opening of the song. It's played to sound so tuneful and forms a beginning that is appeasing from the beginning. The accompanying instruments blend in well. The instruments are so full of tunefulness and so light in volume and it adds a lot to the song. The vocal performance is set deep in tone. The artist voice sounds really good performing at this tone, His voice is perfection against this melody. The lyrics of the song are nice and plays well into the rest of the song.”

Crowd Review for I'll Be Fine

“I love that the voice and the music actually seems to mix well. Sometimes what happens with music is that the two do not really mesh and it makes the whole song awkward. The guitar in the song is great. I loved the actual finger picking. The interlude is wonderful too.”

Crowd Review for I'll Be Fine

“Thought this song was kinda reminiscent of 90s alternative music. I found myself singing along by the.end. It has an interesting story, a bit of poetry. I hear this song on a soundtrack to a movie or during one of the shows on Cw.”

Crowd Review for I'll Be Fine

“The guitar solo in the intro is intriguing and calming. The full band grooves well together. The vocals are harmonic, distinctive, and attractive sounding. The lyrics are affecting, and sung with a sentimentalness. The rhythm is strong, engaging, but smooth. There is plenty of instrument variety, and I think the groove is good.”

Crowd Review for I'll Be Fine

“Love the guitar in the opening - very pure and simple. Was expecting the song to be sung by a female artist for some reason but was surprised to hear the male vocals totally pulling it off - the voice is beautiful, pure and matches the style of the music. The lyrics make sense and can reach a wide variety of people. I can see many different radio stations playing this song and this song will definitely be in the charts.”

Crowd Review for Pretend

“The sound has a mysterious atmosphere and out of the box melody. I like the unique arrangements also the dynamic vocal delivery and performance. The lyrics are well-written also catchy during the chorus section with nice vocal layering. The overall vibe of the song is cool and easy on the ears. Tight mix with good balance of the music production.”

Crowd Review for Pretend

“I like the music very much. There is not too much going on. The number of instruments are minimal and this makes the song sound good - less is more sometimes and this is one of those times. The artist has a very great vocal and the tone of his voice is just perfect. It suits the music and the sound of the instruments perfectly. The lyrics are good, a bit predictable since it is a love song. But the great thing is that I cannot hear any overlap between these lyrics and those of other songs. I would have liked a little oomph towards the middle of the song and guess what? It had it! Perfect!”

Crowd Review for I'm Only Waiting

“Right off the start you had me. Fast paced and interesting. The guitar solo is great, great voice! I could see you on stage just getting down, it makes me wanna go out and have a drink and dance. Your lyrics flow great with the beat and background music. I would definitely buy an album or see you live.”

Crowd Review for Real Fast Car

“This is a very relatable song, and i love the beat of it. My favorite parts are the beginning and the guitar solos after the chorus. This song is meaningful, yet playful. I think it could be a hit song and i think many people would like it, especially for the lyrics, they definitely speak to me.”

Crowd Review for Sunshiny Place

“I like the up beat drums and i find the vocals to be original and unique. The vocals are also clear and the melody is tuneful. This is an original love song because it's not your typical love song, which is cool.”

Crowd Review for The Love

“Jason D'amore hits you right in the solar plexus with a gorgeously dark tune. The song showcases his writing ability, musicianship and his ability to sound like an early Bowie but also sound like a completely unique artist - which he is. The dark tones to the song have hints of Nirvana, Oasis and Ziggy Stardust topped with a sprinkling of a Bond Theme. The subtle melody and even more subtle harmonies give this song a feel of warm oatmeal and honey whilst sitting in a heavy rain shower. It's truly beautiful. Top marks.”

Crowd Review for I'll Be Fine

“Great opening, super great and unique voice. I can't think of anyone in the market today with this kind of voice besides this man. The lyrics are very relatable,”

Crowd Review for Pretend

Crowd Review for No Guarantee

“The intro instrumentals were very engaging and compelling right from the start. There was nice usage of dynamics. When combined with the vocals, it created a full, balanced, and varied composition. I had my head nodding to the beat the whole time. The vocals were unique, expressive, and had a strong connection to the lyrics. It's never good when the artist sounds disconnected from what they're singing. These lyrics were original, meaningful, and paired well with the vocalists confident sounding vocals. The melody was well-shaped and memorable. The overall talent of the artist was creative and they sound accomplished. The smooth clear sound of the vocals and instrumentals made a well polished song.”
