“COLORADiO is music with a mind and a soul. It’s deliberate in execution, but unchained in its conception. The myriad facets and genres present are bright, complementary and diverse; while the music itself is honed razor sharp. Production is raw and gritty (as it should be in my opinion) and it lends an honest, DIY- “feel” to the organic nature of the music. If Jack+Jill can convey this much energy, breadth and cacophony of sound amongst five-tracks; their next LP is certainly going to make listeners stand up and take notice.”

“You give PEV a band with a badass beard, some sweet dreads, “grungy guy and rich female vocals” and an electric violin, and you’re going to do a bit more than grab our attention! JACK+JILL, the Colorado-based duo (husband and wife Aaron and Jessica Seibert) turned full 4-piece band (adding in bassist Brian Braukhoff and drummer Jake Cram) has shared the stage with some impressive artists, including Everclear, Eve 6, Loverboy and Days of the New, and has also produced some really great music in the form of 2009’s Into the Open and 2011’s Brightest Star in the Nightmare. Today, we’re pretty pumped to tell you about this unique band’s latest release, a 5-song album titled COLORADiO, a representation of “the true sound of J+J, finally. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally time to let the music speak for itself… as it should.””

“This is a band which confounds all around - Memorable rootsy psychedelic folk rock for your listening pleasure.”

“This album (Brightest Star in the Nightmare 2011) features top notch musicianship, memorable melodies, and truely a whole new kind of listening experience. Different styles from reggae, eastern influence, progressive, classical, pop, it really has something for everyone.”

"At Song Revelation when we checked out JACK+JILL’s dynamic rock sound we were really impressed"

“ALBUM/PRESSKIT REVIEW BY GENE FOLEY/FOLEY ENTERTAINMENT: RATING SCALE "1" Indicates the Lowest Score "5" Indicates The Highest- Score: Recording Quality/Production: 4 Lead Vocals: 4 Musicianship: 4.5 Lyric Writing: 4 Music Composing: 4 Melodies: 5 Song Arrangement: 4 Quality of EPK Content: 4.5 Overall Delivery: 4 Dear Aaron & Jessica, Thanks for submitting the material for the evaluation. I enjoyed the songs very much. To really raise the bar, every artist should work hard to earn a 4.5 or 5 in every category. It's a very competitive business and people averaging in the 3's (or less) will probably not get too far without a great deal of improvement and development. I don't give out 4's and 5's easily, so any of those you see, you have earned. Well done! Thanks again for the music submission and continued best wishes to everyone in JACK+JILL. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best wishes, Gene Foley www.FoleyEntertainment.com”
