Immoral Discipline / Press

“All in all, I give this CD (Complete Discipline) a solid 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. It is a punk purist's dream and a way for new fans to look back into where punk came from...”

“Immoral Discipline is one of the oldest running street punk / Oi! bands out of Washington, DC. They have (been) around since 1986 and have been one of the most influential bands in the US Oi! movement out there. At times (they) have been misunderstood but they have always been a powerhouse of great punk music. The band has released a ton of great releases and even has discography CD that details their history...”

“A complete discography (Complete Discipline) of the early US skinhead band from Washington DC. The album features the 1987 “Boots and Braces, Stars and Stripes” demo, an unreleased track from that demo's session, the 1988 “Battlefield” EP, the 1989 “Immoral Discipline” EP, the previously unreleased “Turmoil Years” LP from 1989 and an extra live track, 26 songs altogether. The band's musical style is a crossover between punk and Oi!, reminiscent of that era, but without any of the hardcore element that the US bands used to have. The big 20-page booklet is packed with info: a band history, discography, lots of old 80's photos and lyrics. An interesting and complete document from the 80's.”
