Melbourne’s best 60’s tribute band The Substitutes (www.thesubstitutes.com.au) If you like the classic songs from Who, Animals, Kinks, Beatles, Stones, Easybeats, Twilights and all those other great 60’s bands you’ll love The Substitutes. Whether you just want to listen, watch, dance, have some fun you’ve gotta be there! If you haven’t seen the Substitutes and love 60’s music do yourself (and some friends) a favour, come along, and enjoy this great band.
The Backstage Cafe venue and eatery is located at 8858 N. 56th St. in Terrace Plaza in the downtown redevelopment area. It boasts a 20-by-30-foot stage surrounded by seating for up to 150 people. Sandwiches, soups and "gourmet" hot dogs will be available by day, and a separate menu of dinner selections will be served tableside from early evening until closing. Customers also will be able to select from among seven on-tap and several bottled beers, as well as a variety of wines. Hope to see you there!
