Holly Brandy / Press

“Between its shredding guitar solos and the edgy attack of its verses, the album “So Unfair” by Holly Brandy is a powerful and welcome introduction to some of Bilbao’s latest up-and-coming rockers. This debut album highlights their depth of musical influence; soaring hard rock chords that would not be out of place at a Metallica concert find their way in between well sung verse and occasional harmonized chorus you’d expect from Bad Religion or Unwritten Law. Lyrically, the themes of aspiration and frustration come through strongly in an iconic “in-your-face” fashion which would satisfy any lover of 80’s and 90’s rock. Overall, “So Unfair” reveals a technical skill and excellent blend of style which sets Holly Brandy apart and promises more great albums to follow. By Adam McLeod in Rock LA Magazine”
