“Well this was a breath of fresh air, some honest to god Punk Rock. High Risk, from Rhode Island, are similar to the myriad of "Punk" acts flooding the MTV airwaves, but with one big difference, these guys are for real. This is what simple 3-cord Punk Rock sounds like before some big name producer comes in and waters it down to the point where it becomes palatable to all the little retards out there that are buying up Justin Timberlake CDs. The tunes are simple, yet instantly catchy. Punk isn't something that you should have to listen to 8 times before it sinks in, it should grab you right away, like the early Ramones stuff, and ROWYCO manages to do that just fine. The tunes are nicely varied, so you never get bored, and range from speedy rockers, to mid-paced, almost radio-friendly, sing-along type numbers. 18 songs, and each one seems more fun than the last.”
