https://www.facebook.com/events/603160539718759/ I'll be opening for Mike Mangione & the Union, playing the Neil Young Tribute show with Robert Reeder, James Moore, David Carlisle, Anne Carlisle, with special guests Lauryn Shapter and Steve & Michaela McLain. This inaugural event which spans June 20-23 will have a New Orleans flavor with added spice from New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Cuba. This free multi-day, multi-genre event will feature national, regional and local entertainment, artisan food, specialty vendors, innovative speakers, art and film, with indoor and outdoor stages and a focus on sustainable solutions, all centered around the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center with indoor and outdoor stages.
Local saxophonist Ed Raines will be saying farewell to Fairfield with this concert at Morningstar Studio. After ten powerful years in Fairfield, eight as the saxman for the Jefferson County Green Band, Ed is moving to coastal Oregon in June but not before giving one last, energy packed show featuring many of the great local musicians that he's been privileged to know and work with. There will be an opening set of soulful soliloquy and duets and trios followed by a nice long final set of rockin' tunes designed to move to! Ed will be joined by Sharon Bousquet (All Soul's On Deck, Beaucoup Shakti), percussionist Greg Holland, rocker Joey Del Rey, Ed's Green band Bro's Steve McLain, Tim Duffy, and rock harp player Kevin Riley and singer songwriter Phoenix Jordan just to name a few
