“Greg Thum and Norm Cutliff III, of Vanilla Pop and the Monkey Feeders, respectively, have teamed up and created a unique sound, even for Taos. Take the electronic dissonance of Nine Inch Nails, the guitar-heavy grooves of Autolux, and even the visual brilliance of Tool, throw in some Taos dirt, and there is Gigantic Hawk. Two guys, a guitarist and a drummer, accompanied by an iPad are creating more buzz than the Taos Hum. A good rock show is equal parts aural and musical. Who doesn't love a great light show? Gigantic Hawk employ the visual talents of Heather Lynn Sparrow, a local photographer and marketing extraordinaire. The result is edgy, dark, sardonic. Awesome! Gigantic Hawk are a band to be seen and heard. You can view their video for "The Raptor" at www.gigantichawk.tv, friend them on Facebook, or follow them on twitter. Whatever you do, be prepared to Rawk!”
