VIVA LA REVOLUCION A special concert commemorating the struggle for independence across Latin America. Throughout the past century the people of South America have fought against the systematic exploitation of their natural resources by foreign powers. As a result the pains of poverty, hunger and disease hit every country and affected the lives of millions of indigenous people. However, from the depths of oppression rose great leaders who resisted and gave their lives for the liberation and independence of their people and land. This struggle continues today and must be respected and celebrated. Join us for an evening of edutainment (education + entertainment) in commemorating an independent and strong Latin America. Special Performances By: THE CORNEL WEST THEORY, LEFTIST, ESSELJAY, RADIO RAHIM Guest Speaker: TBA Advance tickets are ONLY $5 and must be purchased thru eventbrite (see the link below). Tickets at the door will be $10. Please note this is a 21+ concert. All attendees will be ID'd at the door.
