December 1st in the Kitchen Café of Galway City Museum will see Galway's City Arts Officer James Harold launch Cinderella Backwards and Bare Hand's Print Anthology, with readings and musical guests to celebrate these wonderful collections. Cinderella Backwards is a CD of poetry by Elaine Feeney and Sarah Clancy. It features some of their well known performance pieces alongside newer work by both writers. The lively CD is packed with poems full of the two writers (un?)usual mix of satire, politics, humour and sharp observation. All proceeds from the CD will go towards Galway's Pro-Choice group's work. The evening will also see the launch of the Bare Hand's Print Anthology edited by Kerrie O' Brien and Sarah Marie Griffin. This photography and poetry anthology is the first trip off-line and into print for the Bare Hands crew and looks like being just as stylish and tasteful as it was online. There will be readings by Sarah, Elaine, Kerrie and many other guests, including performances by musical guests The Last Pagans and Emma O'Reilly. It's a free event, and it kicks off at 7pm, we hope to see you there! www.emmaoreilly.ie barehandspoetry.tumblr.com/ www.galwaycitymuseum.ie
