We are very excited to support the great Midge Ure at the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton on Thursday, October 6. Mr. Ure has enjoyed huge success as the lead singer and instrumentalist with Ultravox (Official), scoring seven top ten records and 17 top 40 singles in the UK. In 1984, he and Bob Geldof wrote "Do They Know It's Christmas" for Band Aid, the British super group organized for Ethiopian famine relief. The song, produced by Mr. Ure, is the second highest selling single in UK history, with 3.7 million copies sold. Ultravox performed at the legendary Live Aid concert in 1985 at Wembley Stadium. Mr. Ure also toured and wrote with Thin Lizzy(!) in 1979 and 1980, and co-wrote Phil Lynott's biggest solo hit, "Black Pearl." He has been a successful solo artist since 1985, with one #1 and four top 30 UK singles. On this current tour, Mr. Ure and his band will be playing material that spans his amazing career.Tickets Save
