“There have been those moments within ones career when they step off stage and they know down deep inside that they should have never said yes to going up there in the first place; they could still feel all of the energy cascading over the audience, they knew how the chemistry working within the band was still in the air - yet they still went up. That was my world last night at McAvoy's in Parkville, Md. We had to leave for an hour and were unable to bring Eclipse - A Journey Tribute on for their first set. Upon returning, we sat up close and personal and watched an amazing SHOW. That is truly what you experience when they perform their tribute. Call me prejudice if you must but this was the same experience we had when they played the Fillmore East, in Silver Springs, Md. I was fortunate to have emceed that performance as well. Tonight however; that double bass, drum kit Ken Wolle was driving had tables shaking and people doing the same on the dance floor. Talk about drum sticks flashn'”
“Baltimore sure has its fair share of local music and cover bands. I've seen many of them and have been quite impressed but Eclipse blew me away!! I've been a Journey fan for as long as I can remember and when you see Eclipse, you can close your eyes and feel like Journey is in front of you. When I saw them for the first time in January, I came home and immediately started marking my calendar for future shows. They simply are....AWESOME! I cannot wait to see them again. ““Joe Buccheri The best birthday gift ever ! Thank you for having me as your emcee during the greater portion of the show. I had to be back on the air at 1am for my Internet radio show for KTK Digital, so we had to leave prior to your encore. You Mike, are blessed with such a fantastic gift. There were many times I closed my eyes to listen to you belt out those Journey tunes; it sounded like Steve Perry was on that stage; you channel him well my friend. The entire production was excellent in everyway and the band was tight and obviously well rehearsed. Again, thank you for allowing me the pleasure of taking part in what is a " not to be missed " Journey Tribute.” - Joe Buccheri, KTK Radio (Jan 05, 2014)”
“There are no words that can express last nights triumphant performance from both BACK ALLEY & ECLIPSE - A Journey Tribute!! We first would like to express our sincere appreciation towards the management and staff at THE FILLMORE in Silver Spring, MD for their extremely professional hospitality and making us feel very welcomed in their establishment! For the group that were in attendance last night, thank you all for your support and rocking out with us last night!! A big shout out to R. R Lee Townsend who was there last night as well! The show was a HUGE success and we all could not be any more happier than we are right now for our accomplishments! Allie Miller, Lead Vocalist for BACK ALLEY, was fantastic last night in the opening act! Her stage presence and her vocal talent truly lit up the stage setting the tone for last night!”
