Join us on Saturday, April 30th, when we present, "Death + Punk: A Celebration of Film and Music," which will include a screening of director (and Charlottean) Jeff Howlett's A Band Called DEATH immediately followed by a show featuring Rough Francis and special guests Dirt Bag Love Affair. Jeff will be on hand to introduce the film, as well as answer your questions following the screening. It is said by some that DEATH were the first ever punk band, so come watch the film and see why. After the film, Rough Francis will take the stage and play their brand of punk. The band's lineup includes the sons of DEATH bassist Bobby Hackney and they will play a set that is guaranteed to be loud and full of energy. Special guests Dirtbag Love Affair, a Charlotte-based punk band, will kick things off and warm up the crowd.
This is it. We finally will be unleashing our second album "Good Riddance". As the name suggests this will also be our final performance! Expect a long night as we are going to be giving you everything we have. We are going out just as hard and fast as we came into the scene.

“This Charlotte quartet gets down and dirty, as the name implies They offer a fine line between rock and punk in a style that offers a bit of nostalgia for the hair metal of old. There's plenty of songs about drinking here, so raise one up and toast the type of rock where punk is celebrated as much as passing out.”
