“Demon Boy’s sound was something of a Hard Rock/Alt-Metal hybrid with occasional moments of Extreme Metal flair. Cuts like “Party to the Grave” and “I Kissed a Dead Girl” were total ghoulish groovers and got everyone to move their feet. One of the most notable parts of Demon Boy’s set was their performance of “Little Red Riding Bitch,” a perverse and twisted re-imagining of the Mother Goose classic tale Little Red Riding Hood.”
“What happens when you add the Shock Rock of Alice Cooper, the atmosphere of a horror comic book, and a ton of hard driving metal? You get Demon Boy and their music that has created an almost cult following that would make Rocky Horror Picture Show envious.”
“A Heavy Metal fun-house ride through a comic book Hell...Not one second of stage time is wasted - these are seasoned pros who know each others every move - like a well oiled machine dipped in Hellfire - these guys ROCK.”
“Last on the list was an extreme (but also ingenious) metal band known as Demon Boy, which featured the aforementioned lead singer in a pair of black wings and completely original stage show (which was as macabre as their stage setup) featuring everything from fog machine, black-painted (and lit) jack-o’lanterns, and big gravestones which you just had to see to appreciate the brilliance of. The whole band, which had original tracks such as “I Kissed a Dead Girl”, “Ravenous”, “Zombie Dance” and their upcoming smash “This Halloween”, is a beautifully dark and “evil” addition to the industry that just has to be experienced LIVE in order to appreciate the brilliance that is Demon Boy. With all the nuances of a Rob Zombie-type stage show, however, complete with big-head mascot Skully and the awesome make-up that they wear, this band has definitely leaped into the spotlight as a band that you truly cannot miss.”
“Demon Boy is Heavy Metal theater. It’s a horror show that record labels haven’t picked up yet, but they sniff the band’s sanguinary trail. They’ll realize the scarlet-haired, fallen angel of death is a true candidate for stardom. Although he commands a small but loyal cult, the ghoulies are lining up to see what all the fuss is about. He has spent years dissecting the brains of legendary stage acts Rob Zombie, ICP, Alice Cooper, Manson and Ozzy Osbourne and now it’s the Demon Boy’s time. The group’s namesake member, the sinister mind behind DB, lays out the reasons his band will be the next big shock rock artist. LTH is inclined to agree... ”
“Whoa!!!! How refreshing it is to hear someone creating a theatrical homage to the likes of the great Alice Cooper, and Rob Zombie! Fans of either, or both, this is one act that you must check out! Dawn of the Demon is a fun-filled romp through morbidly twisted themes with an auditory landscape that continuously fuels the fire. Demon Boy is a New York based band made up of Demon Boy on vo-kills, and his minions as the band. Dawn of the Demon starts off with I kissed a Dead Girl, a track of fist-pumping, head-bobbing necro-rock. Love that guitar tone! Track two, Little Red Riding Bitch is a grooving, cemetary bop with a twist on the fairy tale of nearly the same name. In my opinion, track three, Pain, is my favorite on the album. The song starts off with a bang and is a runaway tank all the way through! "THE PAIN IN YOUR BRAIN IS THE DEVIL IN YOUR VEINS!" Track four on Dawn of the Demon is Ravenous, and another great tune! I love the guitar riff in the beginning leading into Demon Boy's”
“Sitting down to write this review I find myself short in words on how to properly explain the incredible phenomena that is the band Demon Boy. I could go on and on but it would never do Demon Boy justice. If I have to narrow it all down into one sentence, it would be “DEMON BOY ROCKS \,,/\,,/!””
“The Demon Boy Band is poised to take the entertainment industry by storm. Not since Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne have music fans been treated to a more all-encompasing, theatric, and energetic experience — and it doesn’t end there. More than just a character, a band, or even a show — Demon Boy is an epic comic book, labeled by industry insiders as having the potential to become the “next Crow franchise”. The Ladies of Altered Realities Radio had the opportunity to sit down with the man himself to talk about the franchise, the music, and all the ways he’s made his entrepreneurial visions come to life in a big way.”
““I want to become an iconic rock star. I want to be the guy on the lunch box. I want to be the face on the magazine.” -Demon Boy”
“I could see how this would work! This is so over the top that it could just go! It reminds me of some older Americana nostalgia! To me it's Wolfman Jack, Faster Pussy Cat, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a little Sabbath from the bass player, might twinge Motley Crue, Creature Feature (1972-1981 Friday nights at midnight, from the 50's Howling Wolfe, Monte Python, and Spinal Tap all together in a scat porn, in a Night Shift at the hospital morgue! There were for sure alot of family pets missing in this singer’s neiborhood! He has a secret ankle bracelet under his pants and he can’t leave the state because he keeps habitually offending. His repeat offense is grave robbing and rapeing the dead! Image the mystery smears on this guy at 4am Sunday morning!”
“My Review of Demon Boy Comic Book (Concept, Design and Story by Demon Boy, Dialogue by Helmut Eppich, Cover by Helmut Eppich, Inks by John Nihas and Pencils by Helmut Eppich) The storyline starts off with Demon Boy being banished from Heaven by his Lord. Then, in like manner, he’s cast out of Hades/Hell by Mephisto for his noble spirit, etc. Aided with an Angelic Aura that detects things, Demon Boy encounters a legion of super zombies in Purgatory amongst other beings. I don’t want to brand this review with a Spoiler Alert, so I won’t go into the ending except to say that it leaves itself open for a sequel. Great storyline and ink…I look forward to reading more about Demon Boy in the future! Contact Information: firstname.lastname@example.org facebook.com/demonboy www.myspace.com/demonboy31”
“ 12) What is the main focus of Demon Boy, and what do you want your fans all over the world to get out of it??? *D.B- I am a Theatrical Hard Rock act themed in Horror, I give a live show filled with High Energy with a Party to the Grave atmosphere. My main thing is to have fun and rock the fuck out! I want my fans to have a positive experience but still keep a dark and decedent vibe.. you can be Dark and Macabre' and still have a good time ya know! Its just Halloween 24/7! ”
“So, the waiting is over Demon Boy has spawned a five song horror fest “Cemetery Girl”, “I Kissed a Dead Girl”, “Little Red Riding Bitch”, “Pain”, “Ravenous”, all set to raise the dead. With anthem like tunes and telling a story the way Demon Boy can tell it, expect these guys to be heard around the world. Taking over the mantel as the new” Shock Rock” demons, bound to catch you in a visual whirl wind of hard rock and grave yards. With “Dawn Of The Demon “ its October 31st everyday. But that’s not all kiddies there is even a comic book about Demon Boy which is a must have also. There you have it good tunes and reading material too. Not to mention all the other goodies from this band you just need to go and check em out yourself.”
“Over the decades music has always produced characters, either from fishermen story lore to song lyrics. A new face that has emerged onto the music world, poised to turn it all upside down and inside out is the insightful and off the wall Demon Boy. Without having a debut album under his belt he has already set up an east coast tour and a comic book series, Demon Boy is not just one thing, he's a whole bunch of things. I was able to catch up with this devil's reject and get to know his music and part of his past, and of course some shameless plugs. So here is the entire interview with the wild Demon Boy.”
"Demon Boy is a new recording artist influenced by Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie, and is the star of the upcoming Demon Boy comic book series."
"This Summer Demon Boy appeared at "ROCK CON: Weekend of 100 Rock Stars" where he met fans, signed copies of the Demon Boy comic book and promoted his music. He didn't just meet his own fans, he made many new ones."
