DeAnna Wendolyn / Press

"DeAnna Wendolyn had a powerful band! And she brought so much energy and such a pure country sound to this stage today..."

“Speaking of living out loud, if you haven’t already heard of DeAnna Wendolyn, then you should check her out. This born and bred Texas Girl is doing what she loves … writing and performing her own music in her own way, on her own terms. Although we’ve seen her perform before and we know her outside of her music, Tim and I just caught her show down in The Stockyards at The Thirsty Armadillo this past Labor Day weekend. Simply put, she was great. She spent a lot of time in the Virgin Islands last year {read her full bio here which gives you insight to her connection to the islands and the events of her life that inspire her music} and, let me just say, the islands agree with her. Great songs and voice that she uses with confidence and without apology. She plays in and around Fort Worth often, you can find out when and where here.”

“...Like every singer-songwriter, she hopes to get her music out there, but the important thing for her is connecting with the audience."It's not about fame," Wendolyn says. "It's not about fortune. It's about getting my point across. When I write a song, I put a lot of heart and emotion into it. I always want people to feel the emotion I felt when I wrote it."”
