DB Curtis / Press

“A new album by DB Curtis and the suspects lives up to it's name "Vintage" The album harkens back to the days when records were true listening vehicles from cover to cover. while todays genres might call it americana,Curtis said the sound is more like what used to be called Country Rock. Curtis has performed as DB Curtis since 1998 and released "Out of the Blue" in 2004. "I had notebooks full of songs that needed to go somewhere It was time for a new album." Curtis said. The album is split into two fairly distinct parts. Side One and Side Two yet both are tied to americana music.Side one is a bit softer country, including a cover of the Bee Gees " to Love Somebody" Side two is definitely more rock, Curtis said. Still,it ends with an instrumental which ties the album together. It kinda closes the door and eases on out.”
