“Dave Dearnley and Dyno Penny have been playing together in Columbia since 2006, but it wasn’t until 2008 that the Americana group added a rotating cast of members known simply as the “Roadkill Orchestra.” Now the homegrown set, which counts Ozark Mountain Daredevils as influences, blends its rock 'n' roll and bluegrass sound into performances. The band’s songs serve as storytelling platforms for its acoustic guitar sound and knee-slapping rhythms.”
