A prolific songwriter, Dalton Cyr wrote, recorded and released his first original song at age 10, his first album at age 12, second album at age 14, and in January 2016 released his first single from his upcoming third album. Named “one of the most promising upcoming songwriters in the world” by industry talent scouts, Cyr will also have two of his songs in the upcoming feature film TIME TOYS with his re-released single "The Way It Should Be" as the official music video for the movie.
Uniquely merging pop and rock with infectious hooks, Cyr was selected to participate in the 2013 International Prodigy Workshop comprised of the top 20 songwriters and film-makers aged 12-18 from around the globe.
A high energy performer who instantly captivates audiences with his powerful guitar, intense vocal delivery and lively stage show, Cyr began touring when he was 12 years old and has performed over 300 shows. He has performed as an opening act and as a headliner at amphitheaters, coliseums, festivals, and fairs throughout the East Coast, Northeast, Midwest, South and the West Coast and has performed live in front of audiences as large as 50,000+.
As an actor, Cyr starred as “Judd” in Amazon Studio’s music-driven sitcom, “A History of Radness” written and executive produced by “Hannah Montana’s” Andrew Green and as Holden in the movie, “Time Toys” in L.A. directed by Mark Rosman (“A Cinderella Story”, “The Perfect Man”) due out in 2016. He also will appear in an episode of FreeForm's (formerly ABC Family)hit show "Pretty Little Liars" in 2016. Recently he was nominated for two awards, winning in one category, at the Young Artist Awards (Hollywood's answer to the Academy Awards for actors under 21). At the Young Artist Awards, Cyr was also a featured performer and presenter and his original music was exclusively featured during the 2.5 hour red carpet ceremony.
Managed by Kepler Entertainment, Cyr has artist relationships with Taylor Guitars, Fender Guitar, Ernie Ball and Guitar Center. In 2015, he was inducted into Robert M Knight’s The Brotherhood of the Guitar.
Cyr supports multiple charities and is a National Ambassador of The Dream Factory, a national organization that grants dreams to critically and chronically ill children. In 2015 he received the Presidential award for his work with The Dream Factory.
