Dag Ripley/ Mark Rowland / Press

“So it's Monday morning and I'm siting in my office on the 54th floor, looking out the window at the protests going on down on Sunset and Highland.. Most of the building is quiet because it is empty, due to Covid. I get a call from Biggie, my Producer and A@R Guy. He asks me if I have listened to the shit he sent over. Of course I said said yes, but we both know I didn't. Biggie says..."Dag Ripley." I open my e-mail, click the file, and play this song called "Represent." No earbuds up here...I have "Real Speakers." I look back down at the street. I say to Biggie..."Who is this Guy?" Biggie says..."You hired me to Produce him." I look at the coffee pot. Then Back down at the street. "Bring him In," I tell Biggie. .”

Billy Unne, President, Hammer Records - RiffRock City News

“Dag Ripley tops the charts with the New Year's Day release of "Faktory of Alibis." Mostly a Punk Album, the opening track, "I don't like the Sky," opens with a ripping, sizzling guitar riff that sets the tone for the album. "Turn out the Light," will catch the listener by surprise, so be ready. "Fight, Believe," and "Now or Never," move closer to Rap and Mainstream Rock, respectively. "Atom Bomb," a cynical look at the men that invented the atom bomb, is packed with production and mixing bells and whistles. "Sunshine in my Pocket," an acoustic guitar piece, reminiscent of Late 70's Rock legends, leads into "Pushing the Decline," with a metal edge. The album is well rounded and mastered very loud. Dag sweeps the bases with his 3rd album. More from Dag? When we asked him, he said, "Why don't you f*uck off, Mate?" He is on vacation in the Himalayas.”

Gladys Dune - RiffRock Publications

“With a swift slicing swith from the Album "Anti-Crisis" with 17 songs, Dag Ripley rips open the gut of scumbag politicians, and they're failure to keep our Earth Habital. The song, "This Place We Live" helped keep Ripley and his fans #1 on the local Reverbnation Charts for the 3rd time, this time over 10 weeks. Set for Release this week, "Feels like Me", will be released. After hearing the song, I can tell you, Ripley takes center aim at your ear and brain. Hints of Rush, Zepplin and Pink Floyd, fleck the Composition, while maintaining the Ripley Sound. Word is Ripley used 8 guitar tracks to complete this Song. Cool.”

Rock Bidges - BAG 'EM 'N TAG 'EM

“Last Night at Dag Ripley's Concert at the First Eastern Hard Ten Ampitheatre, Ripley was found fast fast asleep with under a minute to showtime. Somehow, he got on stage in time. Dag Ripley kicks off an Eastern UK tour, to promote his new album, "Anti-Crisis". After the show I asked him what happened before the show, to which he replied, "I'm not quite sure whatchu mean?" Ripley's new single, Time and Again, has sold off the charts. Literally.”

Big Smitty - Wankers Rod and Piston

“Dag Ripley mixes genres like a Long Island Ice Tea. Heavy guitars on this short but sweet Riff Hop jam. Metal meets Rap and Punk in a dark alley and emerges as a musical Juggernaut. All Ripley needs is some to take a serious listen to the music, and put together an all out production and Media Blitz, and he will be the next on-line superstar.”

“After getting a special pre-release copy, Dag Ripley has hit his stride with the new single release, 'Run for Cover.' This Metal/Rap hybrid brings guitar to the forefront with a quick slippery Rap and a sing-a-long Chorus. Followed up with a Jimmy Page style solo and stand alone guitar breaks, Ripley breaks the mold, the puts the pieces back together in a truly sonic masterpiece. With this breakout Hit, Ripley may finally get the recognition he deserves.”

“Check out Dag Ripley in his debut Video "Crashing Sun." Heavy and Dark, it will leave you wondering, for sure. The Rapper/Rocker said he chose this song for his first video because, "I like it". He also added that the next video ,coming soon will be a Rap song, although he will not comment on which song. When asked, Ripley said, "It will definitely be a Rap song, but I don't know which one, cause I may not have written it yet." The Artist still insists it will follow up quickly to "Crashing Sun."”

Bulldawg - Rapd Up

“Last night at Club Junk Dag Ripley pulled off an amazing performance. Ear splitting guitars, pounding drums and bass, the band supertight. Ripley's Vocals, Stunning ,to say the least.Starting the show with "Stranger", then mixing in some old school punk, Ripley then set his $3,000 Les Paul on fire during the Encore, "Awaken".Ripley refused to say anything but "F*uck Yeah" after the show.”
