“This is thrash from Canada that sounds a lot like Megadeth circa ‘So Far So Good So What…’ as the album progresses beyond the first couple of tracks, which isn’t a bad thing in my book. Vocalist Chris Robertson has a certain Mustaine snarl to his voice whilst the recording has that slight reverb or echo feel associated with the aforementioned release. This band is clearly comfortable with their style, the epic long playing ‘The Dystopian Arsenal’ clocks in at over 9 minutes and within this period you get varying displays of light and shade, hard and heavy matched with some relative tranquillity and acoustic passages (played via electric guitar). This is very brave and very fruitful too. Straight ahead thrash masters like ‘Iraqistan’ and the shredding ‘Human Target’ lay out all the hallmarks of a band you would have expected to have been recording for the last 25 plus years, it is very professional.”
