His foundation was laid in the hip-hop culture, when he started performing at the age of 15 in 1988. He has exhibited his word prowess by offering poetry performances, inspirational talks and life skills workshops to youth in high schools, clubs, prisons, churches and even street corners around the South Africa. He chooses to always use his pseudonym because he believes it best describes who he is, just a common man who believes in righteousness, of which he’s persistently in search, defining it through his writings, not in a religious context but a rather more social dimension and trying to reflect it in his way of life (activism). His source of inspiration for his writings he says, are realities of the common people. It is in this context where he defines righteousness as a state of mind where one is conscious of their role in the advancement of humanity, not only for the benefit of the individual self but for the benefit of society as a whole.
