BLACKRUE: (back by popular demand to CenterStage!) BlackRue are an American Rock, Alt Country with a twinge of Punk attitude kinda band. Drums, Bass, Les Pauls, The occasional fiddle, add beer and you've got a high energy show! Since 2010, Non stop performing and a relentless work ethic, the band has found itself as direct support for Bret Michaels & Days of the New as well as performing for The Philadelphia Folk song Society and music festivals like HollyStock and The Liberty Music Festival in Philadelphia. Securing the nomination for song & Ep of the year at the 93.7 WSTW Hometown Heroes Homey awards and an acoustic performance at the awards ceremony has fueled the band to work even harder. Their debut EP "The Likelihood of Confusion" was released November 2013 to a great deal of success which led to airplay on 95.1 WZZO Allentown, PA, 102.5 WRFY Reading PA, 104.9 WRKY Altoona, PA and 93.7 WSTW Wilmington, DE. All of the songs on the Ep are in heavy rotation on Pandora and internet radio all across the US. Signing on with Flexitone Records in 2013 the band is currently working on their next release with producer David Ivory. http://www.BlackRue.com/ CLOUD PARTY: Cloud Party has been a major part of the original music scene of Berks County fore over two decades. The band released its new album, “The Dying Art of Living,” early last year. Cloud Party's singer/songwriter Jim Speese and guitarist Mark Steffy have been a team (and best friends) for more than a decade now. It was early 1997 when Steffy responded to Speese's ad in the hometown (Reading, PA) paper looking for a guitarist for his new band, after having traveled and played across the country as an acoustic act. Cloud Party was formed and immediately began garnering notice throughout the region, playing all over the tri-state area. The band recorded their first CD and radio play followed soon after. The band showcased in NYC, played festivals in front of thousands of people and continued to grow in popularity. The band recorded a song celebrating the 250th Anniversary of their hometown of Reading in 1999 which was released by radio station Y-102. After the release of their critically-acclaimed 3rd album, Real (recorded live on the Internet in 2000) the band went through a period of readjustment, finding new bass players and drummers to complement Speese and Steffy. In the meantime, Cloud Party cobbled together tracks for their 4th album (Praying For Rain, released in 2005). In this period, Speese took some time off to travel again (this time to South America) and Cloud Party took a sabbatical. Cloud Party is now back with a vengeance and a new, more mature sound. Still featuring the literate lyrics of Speese and the passionate guitar work of Steffy, the band is now focusing on their more Americana songs for their upcoming 5th album release, “The Dying Art of Living.” The band has been compared to the likes of Pink Floyd, REM, Elvis Costello, Neil Young, and even, at times, Johnny Cash. http://www.cloudpartymusic.com/ EGON and The SLIMERS: The brothers Levering out of Wyomissing Pennsylvania created a rock and roll band and joined forces with time manager Chris Rickenbach to entertain the masses. Embracing influences from Beatles, Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Ravonettes, Alice in Chains, Muse, and David Bowie, to Nirvana, Weezer, Metallica, Guns & Roses, Egon and The Slimers are a great sounding melting pot of all things ROCK! https://www.facebook.com/EgonAndTheSlimers
