City Under Siege / Press

“B uffalo has seen many of its bands come and go, some rising to the top of the music scene and others falling flat. But power-pop, indie rock band City Under Siege is one band that is determined to make it and confident it will.”

“If you do get the chance to hear this album, you are going to be treated to music that may sound like a poor man’s Dashboard Confessional, but that is what happens when you are influenced by a band so well known. With a little more money spent on production and some help writing stronger hooks City Under Siege will be on the same page as the many power pop bands out there. Their lyrics and songwriting skills are already well beyond their years and are only going to get better as they experience more throughout their lives. Undoubtedly my favorite song has to be “I Won’t Go On”. Wittlinger’s vocals send chills down my spine when he hits the high notes as he belts out the lyrics” I want to know”. Another very cool track to check out has to be the super catchy “Lost and Hopeless”. WOW what a chorus. I would love to hear these songs remastered and released yet again. Who knows, maybe we will see that. One can hope anyways.”
