“Knowing that Seattle R&B artists Che Blaq and brother J. Dot would be performing on the stage indoors at around 5pm, we walked inside where we noticed he had just hit the stage. They sang some of their new and old music and mesmerized the crowd. It was only about 40-50 people looking on at the time but after hearing the beautiful sounds coming from these musicians many others began to stop for a listen. Cell phones and cameras were in the air; as they captured the attention of many people who had no idea who they were. You can only imagine the various social networking sites the footage would be uploaded too. I was standing in the back when a white woman in her upper 20's or early 30's stopped me as I was taking pictures and asked who the guys singing were. She said "they sound great"! She kept a tight grip on her one year old daughter who seemed to be putting on a show of her own but that didn't stop her from becoming a fan.”

“Seattle Washington is not just home the 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII Seattle Seahawks, but also talented artist such as Grammy winning hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, songstress Tess Henley, and more... "Electo Soul" artist Che Blaq could be added to the above list of talented Seattle based musicians. The multi-talented singer, songwriter and producer Che is not new to the music scene. He began his professional singing career as 1/2 of the soul duo The ARq with high School friend in 2001. After four studio albums, the group decided to end their partnership, but Che continued his music journey as a solo artist and had the opportunity to feature a few singles on the 2011 romantic comedy "Politics of Love" featuring actresses Ruby Dee, Loretta Devine, and actor Brian J. White. During his career, Che has shared the stage with also worked with many Hip-Hop and RnB/Soul artist such as Big K.R.I.T, Messy Marv, Wingo of Jagged Edge, Young Joc, Donnell Jones, TGT member Ginuwine, and more.”

“I recently got the chance to listen to up and coming artist Che Blaq's new album Fearless and I was so impressed with his writing and producing skills that I had to get to know more about this up and coming R&B artists based out of Seattle. Che is one of those Independent artists that was able to step outside of his-self and think objectively about what songs and what type of production is needed in order to put out good quality music that will gain attention. Here is the interview I conducted with him recently.”

“There will always be some talented artist willing to take their places. .....But helping them to sharing their music is always the most excited part of it.
