Celia Palli / Bio

Bursting into the Toronto music scene in 2009 as background vocalist for Canadian artist, Nelly Furtado, Celia Palli got to open for the Grammy winner on her Spirit Indestructible European tour in 2013. Celia Palli’s debut album was released in Spain in October 2014. Her single “I’ll Be Fine” not only made it to the semi-finals of the ISC (International Songwriting Competition) but the music video was picked up by the Spanish TV stations and played regularly across the country. On April 2015, Spain’s nation newspaper La Vanguardia gave Celia “New Artist of the Year” award and on may 30th 2015, CBC announced the Official Hymn for the Pan Am games for which Celia wrote the Spanish lyrics “Together We Are One/Unidos Somos Más”. Celia Palli toured Spain on the summer of 2015 and has spent the last year writing songs for her upcoming album.

"Celia Palli is blessed with serious songwriting skills and a unique and limber voice that carries the message. Whether in English or Spanish, Celia delivers poignant, effortless storytelling in her songs. Her zest for life completely rings through the music. Don't even get me started on her live show-she's a multi-instrumentalist who is completely natural on stage and captivating and exciting to watch. If you are looking for a female quadruple- threat, look no further! " ~ Nelly Furtado
