I am playing the MOVE music festival in Albany, NY, for the first time! My first-ever festival gig. I'm so excited! The $15 ticket gets you in for the entire festival, which starts at 4pm and goes until 4am. I'm not sure when my time slot is, but I will keep you posted.
Caffe Vivaldi is one of the premier listening rooms for independent artists in NYC. I've been wanting to play this since moving here, and finally got a booking! It's an intimate room with great food and beverages. For the second time, I'll be joined by a band (Craig Brinker on keys, and Philip Rowan on bass). Hope to see you there! *note: Caffe Vivaldi is a cash-only venue*

“Crazy talented singer-songwriter Casey Dinkin is releasing her debut album, Right Now For Now on July 28th, and boy, has she earned her stripes. Her "catchy…clever songs" (Times Union) meld soul, pop and folk influences into a soulful, melodic sound that has captured a devoted fan base. Through a successful Kickstarter campaign, they raised $10,000 in order to make this album happen, and that's a lot of love. Since then Dinkin has been featured on NPR and has made her mark performing all over NYC, sharing the stage with Rachael Yamagata and Sean Rowe. She's been compared to songstresses Fiona Apple, Duffy, Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones, but has created a distinctive sound that will surely secure a unique place among them.”
