“Hollow Earth - I quite enjoyed this new product produced on the local, familiar terrain of North Vancouver's Pacific North Studios with some of the drum tracks recorded over at good, ol' Mushroom Studios. There's nothing wrong with its similarity to likes of Pearl Jam, taking the promising, proven path of the basic rock genre. Although the cover mat warn of our planet't imminent demise, the musical content seems to reach out for youthful hope from within the muck and mire. Again, today's favorite color bares its bleak head in the cut "Very Black" and the outward appearance of despair shows its fanged teeth in titles such as "Deprived," "Shallow," "Surface Slime" and "Another Ending." Canada makes yet another move in the direction of contemporary musical successes”
