Fibro Fest is a Fibromyalgia Awareness event intended as a celebration of the lives of people surviving with Fibromyalgia. The idea is to use music and art to encourage Awareness and Support. We will have information about Fibromyalgia and include resources for those who wish to learn more about this illness or who would benefit from additional support related to a FM diagnosis. We are blessed to have some of Tampa Bay’s best original and cover bands volunteering their time and talent for a full night of killer music. Current lineup is: Mr. Grumpy, Virginia Rose Band and Dark Savvant have signed on to perform. Bryan James, Justin Miller, KathySings4u.com and a few others have agreed to tone things down with acoustic performances. We have had quite a bit of interest from others, so the list doesn't stop there! Ever wonder what the hell Fibromyalgia is? What it feels like to live with it every day? Know someone with it and wonder how they can seem fine one minute and totally not fine the next? I assure you, those commercials where the lady takes a pill and her life goes back to normal IS NOT reality! Join us and take the Fibro Challenge! Unlike Fibro patients, you will win a prize… for us the prize will be the day that a cure or better yet a preventative is found! For you… it will be something cool from one of our AMAZING donors :) We are also working with some great sponsors who are doing their best to donate restaurant and other gift cards and gifts and we are most excited about a particular organization that is searching for the perfect purple Fibromyalgia guitar to be auctioned off online throughout the event to raise additional funds so that we can meet our goal of Painting Tampa Bay PURPLE for FibroFest2015!!!
