In December 2014, singer-songwriter, Jeremy Hrdlicka, was at a musical crossroads. His previous band, the BickerBros. had disbanded and he was looking for ways to continue his music and follow his dream of recording an EP. He enlisted drummer and fellow BickerBro, Carl "Bash" Raines and good friend and guitarist, Tom Mogan, to help him in the studio with the Bucket List EP. Performing and recording under the name Brother Bicker, little did he realize at the time that this collaboration would blossom into something greater than the sum of its parts. After recruiting another BickerBro., Patrick "Duff" Down on bass, Brother Bicker, the band was born, eventually adding Ben Ellard, to round out the sound on the keyboards.
These five friends and band mates have been crafting their unique sound and bringing a fresh take to the "roots rock" genre. They write and perform original music with elements of blues, folk, punk, classic rock, alternative and 80s hair metal, best described as the Rock n Roll love child of Pearl Jam, R.E.M. and Steve Earle. Their high energy shows have been building a steady and loyal following in their hometown of Calgary, AB. They are looking forward to that one big break that lets them quit their day jobs. Until then, they just play for the love of making music and performing.
