“The night was kicked off by the Atlanta band, Brazen Angel, who did a very impressive job of getting the heads banging and fists pounding with their onslaught of melodic metal. Having never seen this band before, the first thing I look for is the crowd reaction, and it was abundantly clear that these guys not only had a lot of fans in the audience, but won over those who had never heard them play a note before (present company included). I strongly suggest that you give these guys a listen by checking out their music on their FB band page and catching them live.”

“Local traditional metal act Brazen Angel have really become a favorite of Jen’s and mine. Tonight marked the fourth time we’d seen them since November 2011, but we never grow tired of Brazen Angel. Over the last couple of years, we’ve watched them grow and hone their stage presence and live performances. Brazen Angel have always had the songs, but now they’ve got the take-no-prisoners, devil-may-care attitude to go with it. Of course, it helps immensely that the band members are all incredibly down-to-earth, funny, kind-hearted dudes who are great to hang out with (though I don’t recommend partaking of bassist Joey Phillips’ home-brewed moonshine if he offers you any). And the quality of Brazen Angel’s live performances is matched by their reputation as a solid local draw, making them a no-brainer to book for a festival like PMF V.”
