The Bottoms Up Band / Press

“If you like your music played loud and hard and your dance floor full, Bottoms Up is the band for you! Seriously, this was the hardest band to photograph because the dancers were absolutlely tireless! They are natural entertainers and approach their shows like party hosts. With a genuine love for the music, Bottoms Up delivered a heap of great dance tunes, like “Brick House” and “Superstition”. Even busted out a little Steve Perry. My favorite song of the night would have to be their original song, “A Little of You” . When asked about their nominations in the Beachcomber Music awards, they expressed their “heartfelt appreciation” but also said it was “totally unexpected”. Look for the Bottoms Up Band and a ton of local talent at the Village Door this Monday night for the Beachcomber Music Awards. By Tami”

“SETLIST — BOTTOMS UP BAND Marie’s Bistro, Blue Mountain Beach, 11.16.12 “Summer of ‘69” (Bryan Adams) “Wanted Dead or Alive” (Bon Jovi). “It’s the ultimate sing along song,” says guitarist Preston Morelock. “I love how it starts off slow and rocks out in the end.” “Cryin’” (Aerosmith) “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” (Pat Benatar) “Hot Blooded” (Foreigner) “Love Rollercoaster” (Ohio Players/Red Hot Chili Peppers.) “It’s just groovy,”. “A favorite of ours to play towards the end of the night when everyone’s on the dance floor and ready to move.” “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” (Jet) “Brick House” (Commodores). “A newer song for us that came together quickly,” says Morelock. “The band has really enjoyed watching people light up when this song starts. No matter what music you listen to, everyone loves ‘Brick House’.” “Eye of the Tiger” (Survivor). “It started out as a goof off song and h”

“The FWB BBQ Festival was held at “The Landing” in Fort Walton Beach featuring some local bar-b-que restaurants, and several other vendors. Bottom’s Up Band opened up and rocked the place out, followed by Cabo Rock to close out the night (not pictured). We ran into Chris Manson walking the streets, Chronic Jester performing steps from highway 98, Andy Durand, Leon set up the music, 99 Rock was representing, Daniel Guilliot was filming for WEAR channel 3, and the Johnny the Baptist! Excellent food, incredible music! You still have a chance to check it out, because the festival is going on tomorrow too!”

“It was Bottom’s Up Bands big day, HUNDREDS of bikers and plenty of “non-bikers” were on hand to enjoy some outside fun. Local treasures Gary Clark and Andy Durand joined the guys for a few songs, an unexpected surprise to say the least. Great prices, good people, and wonderful times at The Outpost for Bikers in Freeport FLorida folks. I am always impressed by the way the management team and staff handle every situation thrown at them, while keeping an extremely clean, fun, and organized operation going on at the same time.”

“I stopped by Marie’s Bistro this weekend to see the Bottoms Up Band. Got some delicious food in my hungry belly and my BUB fix all in one stop. The BUB were rockin’ the crowd as always. We even got to hear a new original “Burn”. I can’t wait to get my hands on the CD they have been working on!”
