Odom Fest is where the cool autumn breeze meets the warm summer's end....the an annual Labor Day weekend party and music festival at the Odom Ranch located outside of Franklin In. THIS IS THE TWELFTH ANNIVERSARY!!!!! Odom Fest WILL be 2 days this year!!! Music and party all day/night Saturday August 31st & Sunday September 1st As always we pre party and camp out the Friday night before... Most of you receiving this invite already know the details but there will be a few first timers as well This gathering of friends and family held annually at the six acre Odom Ranch, owned by Cindy & Steve Odom and is located between Franklin and Bargersville Indiana off of SR 144. This beautiful property boasts a concert field, food/beverage area, bonfire pit, camping spots, and plenty of parking surrounded by foliage, a creek, and cornfields. This is an all day/all night/all weekend event with live music throughout. Just a short drive South of Indy. Use Mapquest or ask for directions. WHAT TO BRING: FOOD, lawn chair, a tent, your own alcohol, and friends. (No Jerks, Brad already has that covered). Please feel free to bring extra food too! The more food the better! We provide some but this will be the biggest crowd we've had so far in the twelve years so it wouldn't hurt to have lots of eats! SO pitch-in a covered dish or something for the grill. Bring a cooler and if you drink alcohol at Odom Fest, DO NOT drive away from Odom Fest!!!!! This is Johnson County! And the cops would love to get you. If you do choose to consume alcohol, please do so responsibility and bring your own!!! Camp out and enjoy the bonfire instead of going to jail. Kids are welcome at Odom Fest (you don't necessarily have to bring your kids though). There will be a bounce house a.k.a The Babysitter. There are always tons of children and they have a blast! Keep them away from the stage please, especially while we are setting up. They get in the way and could get hurt (tripping over something or being beaten by the sound guy) Please dont bring your dog. We love dogs and all but there are already some out there and it can be a hassle. We are asking for donations again this year. Whatever you have is appreciated (unless you are a performer or helping Odom Fest in other ways). There is plenty of tent space but the better spots get taken first, so you might come early to reserve your spot. Odom Fest Twelve will have the most live musical entertainment than ever. We are cramming in as many musical acts as possible consisting of acoustic acts during the day and the bands at night. Trying to get the music started in the early afternoon on Saturday. If you are one of the musicians playing, you will be responsible for being set up and ready to play on time please. We have to stay on schedule in order to pull this off. Musicians can park in the driveway rather than the main parking field Everything is weather permitting however if we all survived last year's hurricane, it's pretty confident to say the weather wont be that bad. This music schedule will be determined soon. Since this is a family friendly atmosphere, we tend not to have any metal, hardcore, or extremely weird acts (although exceptions have been made but there WILL be weirdness). Speaking of this being family friendly: we maintain a mellow vibe at our parties and bad attitudes are not welcome. Being respectful shouldn't be a problem. Odom Fest boasts an incredible PA and lighting system. Message one of us with any questions
