Walls have shuddered, oceans have fallen, mountains have ebbed and flowed to the sights and sounds of sea chanties hollered and howled across tundra, desert, and floodland by pretentious musicians who had no idea how to describe what they did in words. IT'S LIKE DANCING ABOUT ARCHITECTURE cried Frank Zappa's wet-nurse. LOBOTOMISE! LOBOTOMISE! cried Tom Waits's watch-mender. JUST COME AND LISTEN AND BE ASTOUNDED, AMAZED, AND MOVED TO TEARS OF INCOMPREHENSION BY THE FRAUGHT, TAUT, CHAOTIC, QUIXOTIC, CHANTING, SHANTING, MAYHEM AND WONDER OF BLUE GRENADE!! cried Blue Grenade's PR girl. A night of that and everything you want but aren't getting anywhere else. It'll hurt, but that's OK. And there'll be musical frogs drinking milkshake...
Come and see Blue Grenade do something quite astonishing. Also playing will be friends to the stars (well - they supported Suede) - Hoodlums. Along with The Tapestry and The Blueveils. How could you not come?? And it's a Friday too! And there'll be no bloody football!! Watch us beat an innocent piano nearly to death. And remember - it's going to be a really really warm evening, so please be sensible and wear as little as possible. See you there, people!! Tom x

Something coalesced and songs began to form.
Then two people met beneath a deluge of Kafka, Kerouac, C...See Full Bio
“They refuse to be pigeon holed, flitting from one genre to the next, sometimes mid song, [which] certainly makes for interesting and intelligent listening. From the Gothic love song that is Super Über Hoover Love, to the anthemic rising Host Divine. There’s something about the piano injection with engine noises on the build of the chorus that just screams anthem. It’s a chemical reaction and we are unable to resist waving our arms towards the heavens. Blue Grenade were totting a few major labels when their bass player and drummer left and, as it goes, labels are reluctant to take an indie band on when it’s different than the usual set up of 4 members. Tom and Don are now the driving force of Blue Grenade, their job descriptions – Tom one half, Don the other; the duo’s brave gamble to losing band members. A wager that paid off. The gypsy punk sound mixed with a David Bowie growl on the vocals add to that some dirty electronic sounds and that is (more or less) Blue Grenade”
