“LA based Hard Rock / Metal band BLACKLIST UNION are back with their 3rd full length release. These guys have gone back to a favorite time of mine for Hard Rock/Metal music. They have a very strong 80's style influenced sound with touches of 90's Modern Rock mixed in. The music reminded me of some of the early work from OZZY OSBOURNE,MOTLEY CRUE & L.A. GUNS mixed with a darker version of early SOUNDGARDEN&ALICE IN CHAINS mixed through out. I grew up listening to bands like this so I was definitely hooked on BLACKLIST UNION from beginning to end. The band features most of the members of SALIVA. The music has a very dirty Hard Rock vibe with some darker edges to it. The grittiness of their sound is what really got me. I dig bands that kind of go in their own direction and take something that sounds familiar and add their own twists to create their own sound and make it theirs. BLACKLIST UNION has done this in a big way.”
"Blacklist Union, led by Tony West, opened, and the promising Los Angeles band pumped some young blood into the proceedings. The band has been tearing up for the past few years – why Blacklist Union has not signed a major deal is a total mystery – and West, a Tommy Lee-lookalike, has all the charisma in the world. This band could be the next Creed, but with a harder edge, if someone would be willing to give them a shot. I was so pumped up that if I was a record exec I would have pulled out my checkbook on the spot."
“They kinda have their own sound to them and they mix sort of a goth style with modern rock and it works. The singer has a great voice and he sings the songs with passion and feeling and I was into this. The songs are catchy and not in that happy thrash or happy rock style. It kinda has that dark and moody style to it as well.”
“In short, Tony (and Blacklist Union) has not yet achieved glory sought, the market does not help much, but as it continues to provide good material as much of what I hear, no doubt will succeed!”
“One of the most scandalously underrated bands on the Los Angeles music scene today, Blacklist Union continues to unleash the down and dirty rock and roll Hollywood is so infamous for. Fronted by the dangerously charismatic Tony West, Blacklist Union’s tunes are packed with mood and attitude, channeling such greats as Janes Addiction and Guns N Roses, yet bold enough to chart these own thrilling musical path. Til Death Do Us Part is their third thunderous effort, a dark, gripping ride of pure sonic intensity that should literally grab the listener by the throat.”
“Hollywood, California, 2012. The ‘Western Civilization’ declined a long time ago. There’s a black storm proceeding from the ocean, whose uproar turned the city dumb, and its thunderous and abysmal voice speaks the language of Tony West and his Blacklist Union. Believe it or not, this is the most exciting, vicious and unsafe rock n’roll since Appetite For Destruction”
“The world has been waiting for this band, and they are now officially here.Their name is Blacklist Union. Check them out. You`ll be glad you did. ”
“Embodying hard rock from first note to last, the captivating album displays the quintet's trademark riffs, commanding melodies and emotional lyricism. ”

“BLU raises the roof and breaks doors in with both its music and attitude, offering no apologies whatsoever”
“Mr. Tony West is like Jenna Jameson and Charles Bukowski. Besides your parents, these buddies can teach ya more about people, real life, everyday issues than 100 books or courses with just one video and one album. Two thumbs up just because I don't have more!" ”
“Blacklist Union were the winners of our “Favorite New Band” contest for the month of May, and worthy winners they are. This Hollywood, California quartet have two albums under their black leather and skull buckle belts. ”
“Its bands like Blacklist Union that put a bit of faith in the notion that Hollywood Rock and Roll isn't dead. Their new album Breakin Bread With The Devil is dirty glam tinged Rock and Roll done right. There is a stunning piano solo at the beginning of 65 Steps Away and great vocal effects on the title track. For anyone who has ever wondered what LA Rock is supposed to sound like, look no further than Blacklist Union. ”
““Tony West is a real as it gets,” Johnson explains. “His lyrics reflect the beauty and tragedy of life in Hollywood with all of its overdoses, love affairs, births, deaths and scam artists. In the studio I challenged the band to be raw, stripped down and brutally honest with their music. They are primal, with nods to early JANE'S ADDICTION and Seattle's MOTHER LOVE BONE. Guitarist Carmine D’Amico has encyclopedic knowledge of punk, metal and hard rock and brings a rebellious angsty attitude to the music.” Johnson concludes ”Blacklist Union is pure passion, pure aggression and dark sexuality.” ”
““Blacklist Union have broken the music barrier and made their mark upon the scene.” ”
““…a holdover sounds straight from the danger-laden late-era Sunset strip days with some modern day tweaking.” ”
